This course is based on Project Based Learning. You start by selecting your project. Next you attend a 2-day one-to-one training workshop. After the workshop you continue to build and optimise your website with the support of your tutor. Your tutor will provide you with bi-weekly one-to-one webinar mentoring sessions and support via telephone and email. You can also access our online library of course resources and step-by-step training videos at any time.
At the beginning of the programme you will work with your tutor to select a suitable project. Examples of suitable projects include promoting an existing website or the development of a completely new business website. To get the best results it should be something that you are passionate about.
Next, you will attend a 2-day one-to-one workshop at our training centre in Epsom, Surrey. Here you will learn the core skills needed to market your WordPress website using SEO. Working closely with your tutor, you will be taken step-by-step through the process of installing and creating a brand new WordPress website and optimising it for search engines.
We will provide you with 6 x 1-hour one-to-one webinar mentoring sessions over the duration of the training programme. Here your tutor will support you in the development of your website.
It’s likely that you will need to ask questions in-between webinar mentoring sessions and for that reason we will provide you with a direct-line to your tutor and unlimited telephone and email support.
