Yes. Creating pages, posts, categorising content, working with images, customising widgets and configuring the general site settings are the same in both platforms.
No. Installing and setting up a WordPress.Org website is slightly more demanding and is beyond the scope of this course. To setup a WordPress.Org website properly you need to learn how to administer your hosting account, how to use FTP, install plugins, optimise your site for speed and secure your site against viruses and hacking. If you would like to learn how to do this then we have a further course called Building Business Websites with WordPress.Org.
